There is so much to discover within walking distance of our front door.
La Source with its magnificent views of the C11th chateau is situated on the edge of the medieval village of Beynac-et-Cazenac, which has been voted one of the best “Plus Beaux Villages de France”.
Beynac overlooks a sweeping curve of the Dordogne River, and is steeped in history and charm.
The village is well endowed with restaurants, patisseries, a butcher who offers rotisserie delights and prepared meals, a well stocked mini-market, a hairdresser, gourmet shop with picnic treats, a casual pizza bar on the bank of the river, a pharmacy, physiotherapist, visiting doctor and a producers’ market during the summer.
Most important is the Tapas Bar which is run by your hosts, Lorena and Enrique.
